Destination : Munnar - Alleppeyi - Cochin

Day 1: Cochin to Munnar

Upon arrival at cochin Airport/Railway Station, our representative will meet and assist you to transfer to Munnar

Day 2: Munnar

After breakfast, proceed for full day Munnar sightseeing. This covers visit to the Tea factory & Tea Museum, the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake and so… Afternoon visit the Eravikulam (Rajamalai) National Park; which is a 30 minutes drive away from Munnar town. The main attraction of this park is the ‘Nilgiri Thaars'- a rare species of mountain goats, protected here.

Day 3: Munnar  To Alleppey.

After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey to board onto the Houseboat at 1230 hrs.

Houseboats are the modern forms of kettuvallams or rice boats which were used as ferries to carry rice. Lunch on the houseboat and later cruise through the narrow canals of the Vembanad Lake. The boat moors on the lake for the night by evening. After dark you can enjoy a delicious dinner to the sound of water lapping the side of the boat

Day 4: Alleppey to Cochin

After breakfast proceed to Cochin airport to connect your flight to the onward destination, with sweet memories of your holidays and with a promise to return once again to this part of the world.

  • Camera Fee at Monuments
  • Anything not mentioned above in " Inclusions"

Advance payment policy:
ItsIndiaTour offers very flexible terms. Once you contract our services, you are requested to pay some advance payment; the advance payment advised to you is decided based on the services that we have to offer and the number of days left for the commencement of the service. You can pay the balance amount before you depart from you country or after arriving in India .

However, for special train journeys and for hotel resort reservations during the peak season (like Christmas, New Year or conferences), full payment is required.

Mode of payment:
ItsIndiaTour offers a flexible mode of payment. You can send advanced payment to our bank through wire transfer or through mail authorization, via Visa/ MasterCard/ American Express credit card and currency notes. However for all payment that is done through credit card, the nominal bank charges would be applicable over & above the total amount.

Cancellation Policy:
In the case of cancellation of your Tour/ Travel Services, due to any kind of problem or circumstances, we request that you inform us in writing. We will try our best to reduce cancellation charges, however, as a general policy the cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 45 days prior to arrival : 10% of the tour/service cost
  • 15 days prior to arrival : 20% of the tour/service cost
  • 07 days prior to arrival : 25% of the tour/service cost
  • 48 hours prior to arrival : 50% of the tour/service cost
  • Less than 48 hours or no show – NO REFUND

However the cancellation of luxury trains like palace on wheels, golden chariot, maharaja express, deccan odyssey, royal orient etc, and peak season bookings (from 20th December to 10th January), the cancellation policy will be advised at the time of reservation.

If you cancel the trip after commencement, we will try our best to recover from hoteliers and airlines any unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportations and missed meals etc. However, ItsIndiaTour does not bear any responsibility for these refunds.

Refund policy:
ItsIndiaTour will always expedite the process of the refund payment. It may take 2 to 4 weeks for our bank to refund the payment. For all refund payments to bank accounts and credit cards, bank charges would be applicable and the same would be debited from the payment that is refunded, as per our cancellation policy described above.

Lliabilities & limitation policy:
Please note that after finalization of the tour/service cost, if there is any hike by the government of India for guide charges, fuel costs, entrance fees for visitor attractions or service tax, this extra cost would be borne by you.

ItsIndiaTour acts as an agent for the airlines, railways, transporters, contractors and hotels; all exchange orders, contracts, tickets and receipts are issued by us in lieu of the terms and conditions and according to the services provided by the above.

The itineraries that are provided to guests are basically our sample itineraries and aim to give you an outline of the trip schedules that are offered by us. However, certain factors like weather, the physical ability of the guest and road conditions etc may mean some changes in the schedule, either before or during the tour, may have to be made. Therefore, the right to change the schedule is exclusively determined by us, keeping in mind the safety, comfort and the well-being of the guest.

Our charges are as per the prevailing rates in the market and the rates are also negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines and all other clients. However, airlines and hotels retain the right to modify their rates without giving us prior notice. In this case, ItsIndiaTour holds the right to charge the rates stipulated by the airlines and hotels. All hotel bookings are based on the normal check-in and check-out time of the hotels, unless indicated in the itinerary. We will not be responsible for any delays and alteration in the program or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to natural hazards, flight cancellation or accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures, or any other incident.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from any act of God, dangers, fire accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults or any causes beyond our control.

We shall not be responsible for it because we have no insurance policy that can bear the expenses of accidents, loss caused by sickness and theft etc. Hence we request our guests to seek such insurance policy in their home town itself so that they can enjoy a comfortable and tension-free trip with us. We also expect you to take care of all your personal belongings, as any loss related to baggage and personal property would be borne by you.

Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night.
